English Language, interesting question from Italy ^_^?

I certainly think that you can learn English well enough to write novels in English, and of course a good editor would be a valuable et in that situation. I would recommend spending as much time as possible in COMMUNICATION over the next while: if you can't interact directly with English-speaking people, find a pen-pal or an internet acquaintance who will help you get accustomed to the language. Keep in mind that the way people speak English in England is vastly different from the way it is spoken in North America, so there's a lot of room for style allowance. Our language has changed dramatically since the 1800s but most lovers of literature read novels, plays and serials from that time with enjoyment. The important thing is to speak and write from the heart, and practice, practice, practice!
