How is a Mitosis and Meiosis daughter cell compared with its parental genetic material?

A daughter cell from Mitosis is an exact copy of the mother cell. A daughter cell from Meiosis only has half of the genetic material from the mother cell. Such as if the mother cell had 46 pairs of chromosomes, it would only p on 23 of those chromosomes to a daughter cell that formed by meiosis.
