Transfer GPA for NYU?

I just completed my first semester in Northeastern University with a gpa of 3.686 so I'm on the dean's list and am pretty determined to work hard next semester for something higher. I want to transfer into NYU 2 semesters later though, am I competitive at the moment? As for activities, I'm do kickboxing, part of several student organizations and all that. My high school grades weren't amazing, but I did attend the top school in Hong Kong and did do well in some areas. Advice please?
